Monday, May 10, 2010: VMT exhibits on the AUTOMATICA Trade Fair

VMT presents its entire range of services with numerous application examples at the AUTOMATICA 2010. Do use the opportunity for a comprehensive
overview of and competent technical consultancy in modern optical measurement, inspection and identification systems as well as solutions in the area
of robot guidance for all industrial areas.

In our Automotive Theme Park we present automated fine seam sealing and our "Best fit" systems, which revolutionize the assembly of doors and
chassis parts.
Especially for visitors from the pharmaceutical, food and packaging industries, we present our inspection and identification systems live and in action.

Monday, April 12, 2010: Automation of manufacturing processes of wind turbine rotor blades

VMT offers a complete robot guidance system for grinding and painting rotor blades. The first plant has already been successfully made operational at
the customer site. So far, the 70 m long rotor blades used to be cleaned and painted manually. Owing to the dimensions, sources of error that can be
neglected in the traditional robot cells had to be taken into consideration.

For automation, two robots each were mounted on two linear axes, one robot for cleaning the blades, executed with a sandblasting vacuum system,
and one robot for the painting. The online measurement was done with two laser run-time measurement systems, which are fixed on the cleaning robot.
The resource efficiency is sustainably enhanced with this automation technology. Savings are achieved in materials, energy and operating materials.

Monday, November 03, 2008: New Managing Director of VMT

With effect from the 1st of November 2008, Dr.-Ing. Stefan Gehlen, a recognized expert in image processing and automation, joins the management board
of VMT Vision Machine Technic Bildverarbeitungssysteme GmbH, Mannheim/Germany.

After completing a study program and graduating from the Technical University in Darmstadt, Dr. Gehlen chaired the Board of Directors of
ZN Vision Technologies AG, Bochum. Important technological innovations were accomplished under his management, such as automated face identification
processes.

Appointing Dr. Gehlen has strengthened the strategic role of image processing solutions within the Pepperl+Fuchs Group. For VMT and its customers,
it is an important step in the direction of long-term assurance of innovation capability and professional competence.

VMT relocating to a new building: New address from October 2007

Owing to the continuous growth that VMT has undergone and the continuous expansion of the activities, including our international activities,
especially after integration in the Pepperl+Fuchs Group, as well as the concomitant strengthening of the head count of the VMT core team,
the premises at Weinheim where we have been located for almost ten years are now proving to be inadequate.

In the new production and manufacturing facilities and the technical school in our new premises – with more than double the area of the earlier location -
we shall continue to offer you the best prerequisites for technological development, feasibility studies, presentations of application-specific sector solutions
and training courses.

And of course, at the new location too, the familiar VMT team will continue to be at your service as usual at the same direct telephone numbers.

Friday, January 12, 2007: VMT prioritising on expanding its international presence in North America, China and the UK

In keeping with the planning, concentrated efforts are now on to strengthen the international business. By using the existing infrastructure of
the Pepperl+Fuchs group, which has a world-wide organisation, it will be possible to have an active presence with on-site specialists in these
markets as early as by the middle of the year.

Independently of this, VMT is already being represented through the existing global sales network of Pepperl+Fuchs and being introduced in
new sectors.

Since the takeover, traffic to the VMT homepage has doubled and the number of inquiries has increased to above-average proportions.
Therefore VMT is expanding its sales team as well as the development and projects departments.

In the coming two years, a considerable growth can be expected in the systems business of VMT GmbH within the Pepperl+Fuchs group.

Friday, November 17, 2006: Pepperl+Fuchs group takes over VMT Vision Machine Technic Bildverarbeitungssysteme GmbH

The previous partners sold 100% of their business shares in the company VMT as from November 15, 2006 to Pepperl+Fuchs GmbH, Mannheim.

VMT decided to this step because they are convinced, that the business with the integral solutions for image processing systems which were
developed in the past 11 years, only can achieve sustained success through the integration into the network of a strong company with worldwide
presence in the field of factory automation. The continuity and the expansion of the business of VMT is effectively saved for the future.

The previous managers Harald Mikeska and Dr.-Ing. Frank Grünewald as also the well-known VMT-team will be available as your contact person
for the future and will support you as usual. Furthermore the products and services will be provided under the brand name VMT.

It is the personal goal to have a unique possibility to increase the international presence of our system solutions within the Pepperl+Fuchs Group
as a global player. VMT as a competence centre will be responsible for the marketing of system solutions of image processing and laser sensor
solutions.

Thursday, March 23, 2006: VMT expands its North branch

The sustained growth in demand for our latest systems solutions and the strong increase in the proportion of customers in northern
Germany and in Scandinavia made it necessary to strengthen our "Northern Colleagues". Only thus could the significant demand for
qualified consultancy and engineering services by competent technical personnel be fulfilled to the satisfaction of our customers.
VMT has strengthened both the office staff as well as the field service staff.
